Hallandale police continue looking for a killer, while family members mourn the death of 20-year-old Lazaro Cuesta.
Cuesta was shot to death inside a friend's mobile home on Saturday. It happened at the Golden Trio Mobile Home, near southwest 8th Avenue and 7th Street.
There is no suspect in custody, and residents said they're afraid.
"80 percent of this neighborhood is little children running around that's what concerns me the most," said resident River Rivera.
The mobile home remains an active crime scene.
"I can't understand why they're here for two days," said Rivera.
Investigators said is has to do with how dark it gets inside the mobile home. Officers need day light to search for more evidence.
The Cuesta family told Local 10's Sasha Andrade that he was once a marching band drummer at Hallandale Beach High School, with a bright future.
Those who loved him are devastated.
Cuesta was hanging out with a few friends when police said two men showed up to rob the group, opened fire, and fled on foot.
Police said they do not yet have leads on the suspects. Investigators said it appears the victim's friends know the shooting suspects. According to authorities, the friends did not initially cooperate with the investigation.
