Reward increased for information in fatal hit-and-run

Miramar Police: White sedan hit, killed Deandre Binns

MIRAMAR, Fla. – Broward Crime Stoppers and Charter Schools USA are offering a combined $2,750 reward for information on a driver who hit and killed a 6-year-old boy.

A white sedan hit and killed Deandre Binns in the 6200 block of Miramar Parkway on Jan. 9.

Police released surveillance video of the car believed to have hit Binns. Investigators are looking for a 1990 to '93 white Honda Accord.

Police also released 911 calls made after the crash.

The $1,750 reward offered by Charter Schools USA expires on Jan. 11, 2014.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
