Reward increased in horse slaughter case

SOUTHWEST RANCHES, Fla. -

Broward County Crime Stoppers increased its reward for information in the case of a slaughtered horse.

Crime Stoppers is offering $2,000 for information leading to an arrest after a horse was stolen from a barn in Southwest Ranches between Aug. 17 and Aug. 18.

The horse was later found slaughtered in the 5100 block of SW 210th Terrace in Southwest Ranches.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
