SUNRISE, Fla. – Police arrested a robber after a short chase through Broward County.
The robbery happened at the La Quinta Inn, located at 351 W. Hillsboro Blvd. in Deerfield Beach, about 7:53 a.m. Monday.

The Broward Sheriff's Office says the robber left the hotel in a truck. Police followed the robbery on Interstate 95 until he stopped on Sunrise Boulevard.
Police then arrested the robber.
