One man is recovering at Jackson Memorial Hospital after a shooting at a hot dog stand in Miami's Allapattah neighborhood.
According to Miami police, a husband and wife were ordering hot dogs at the stand in the 1900 block of NW 21st Street, when they were approached by two men.
One of the men asked the woman for her purse, police said. That's when her husband got into a fight with that man, police said.
According to authorities, the second suspect took out a gun and shot the woman's husband in the leg.
The two suspects got away with the purse in a beige vehicle.
Authorities said the victim is in good condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
