MIAMI – A sport utility vehicle crashed into Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School in southwest Miami-Dade County Tuesday afternoon, killing a woman.
The school is located at 14000 SW 112th Avenue.
An elderly woman lost control of her Chrysler Pacifica and hit the woman, killing her, according to Miami-Dade police.
The crash happened near the cafeteria before the start of a routine parish meeting, said Archdiocese of Miami spokeswoman Mary Ross Agosta.
The victim wasn't immediately identified.
Agosta added that neither woman worked at the school.
No charges have been filed.
