Suspicious package found in bank

A suspicious package was found inside of a Regions bank branch in Miami Gardens.
The package was found about 11:30 a.m. Friday. The bank is located at Northwest 57th Avenue and 163rd Street.
Miami Gardens police said the package was left near a counter inside the bank.
The Miami-Dade Police Department's bomb squad responded. They said the suspicious package was a backpack full of diapers.
Customers and employees were forced to evacuated the bank. The bank was reopened about an hour later.
Northwest 57th Avenue was closed from 161st to 167th Street for about a half hour, said police.
