Three guns seized at local airports in last week

Screeners also seized stun gun at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Int'l Airport

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Screeners for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) stopped three loaded guns from making it onto flights from South Florida in the last week.

The TSA said screeners first seized the loaded .380 automatic pistol that you see in the above picture at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport on Tuesday.  Then on Thursday, they stopped a .40 mm pistol.

They also found a stun gun at FLL in the last week.

Screeners at Miami International Airport seized a loaded 9mm last Wednesday.

In total, the TSA found 32 guns in carry-on baggage across the country in the last week. Of those 32 guns, 27 were loaded.
