Police are looking for a bicyclist in his early 20s who shot another man in South Miami early Monday then left the scene.
According to police, the victim was walking his girlfriend to a Metro Rail station near 5927 SW 70th Street when he got into an argument with the man on the bicycle.
After the victim dropped his girlfriend off, the bicyclist reportedly confronted him, pulled out a gun and shot him in the shoulder.
The bicyclist then took off.
The victim walked into the lobby of a nearby post office and waited for fire rescue to arrive after the shooting.
"[He] walks into the post office, almost collapses on the floor," said South Miami Police Maj. Rene Landa.
He was taken to the hospital, but his condition wasn't immediately released. Police said he had little to say to them about the shooting.
"He did not want to give us any further information," Landa. "No age, date of birth, if he knew the subject or what the confrontation was over."
Police are looking at surveillance video from the post office, hoping it will help track down the shooter.
