Volunteers gather to beautify Miami neighborhood

Hundreds of volunteers are expected to gather in Miami's Brownsville neighborhood to take part in a beautification project.

MIAMI -

Hundreds of volunteers are expected to gather in Miami's Brownsville neighborhood to take part in a beautification project on Saturday morning.

The day will include painting and landscaping. Through the support of Home Depot, volunteers will also restore the exteriors of 10 homes.

Saturday's event runs from 7 a.m.  to 3 p.m. and volunteers were asked to meet at Jefferson Reaves Park, 3090 N.W. 50th Street in Miami.

The beautification project is led by Neighborhood Housing Services of South Florida. For more information, head to their website.
