WASHINGTON, D.C. -

The White House is worth a whole lot more than when the Obamas first moved in four years ago.

According to the online real estate website Zillow, the value of the White House has increased about 7 percent since Jan. 2009 to an estimated $294.9 million.

Zillow calculated the value of the home at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.,  based in part on public data and recent sales in the Washington, D.C. area.

According to Zillow, the monthly mortgage payment including taxes, insurance, principle and interest, would be $1,130,832. The monthly rent is estimated at $1.75 million.
