American Airlines plane makes emergency landing

An American Airlines plane made an emergency landing Sunday evening after officials say the plane had a problem with one of its wing flaps.
An spokesperson with American Airlines said the pilot landed the plane safely without incident at Miami International Airport, after the pilot declared an emergency on board AA flight #672.
There were 179 people onboard the plane, which came in from St. Thomas.
The spokesperson said no one was hurt and the plane will be out of service until it is fully repaired and inspected.
