Archbishop Wenski says Catholic priests are praying the leaders of the world find a political solution instead of a military one after Syrian leaders used chemical weapons against its own people.
"It's a humanitarian crisis. It will not be solved with more killing, with more violence. It will be solved with negotiation, dialogue, and humanitarian aid," said Archbishop Wenski.
Across the country, Americans continue to rally both for and against a U.S. military strike against Syria.
Lawmakers are still trying to figure out what action to take.
"We are the United States of America. We cannot turn a blind eye to images like the ones we've seen out of Syria," said President Obama.
