Cousin calls 911, says Miami man 'told him he killed his wife'

Aralio Boudet told his cousin that he killed his wife, Miami police say.

MIAMI – A Miami man has been arrested after he stabbed his wife to death with a kitchen knife during an argument, police said.

Aralio Boudet faces a charge of second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of Elva Alvarez, both 51.

Miami police said Alvarez's brother found her dead on the kitchen floor of her Southwest 55th Avenue home.

According to the arrest report, witnesses told police that Boudet said "he had just killed his wife by stabbing her."

His cousin called 911 after Boudet "told him he killed his wife," the report said.

Boudet told police he was arguing with his wife when he grabbed a knife from the kitchen drawer and stabbed her in the neck and shoulder, the report said.

Police didn't say what the argument was about.
