Barricaded man surrenders to police

A man who barricaded himself inside an apartment Tuesday at Solano at Miramar apartment homes on SW 26th Street has surrendered to police.
According to police, the incident started as a domestic disturbance.
After police arrived the man was reported to be armed and threatened to commit suicide.
Police were eventually able to get the man to peacefully surrender.
No other details were immediately released.
