Body pulled from car in canal identified as William Naylor

A body found inside a car pulled from a canal in Coconut Creek has been positively identified as that of a man who disappeared nine years ago.
Coconut Creek police said Tuesday that the Broward County medical examiner's office identified the body as William Naylor.
Naylor, 69, had been missing since February 2005.
His remains were discovered Saturday inside a green Thunderbird that was pulled from a canal near where he used to live.
Police did not release any other details about Naylor's death.
