Boy, 13, grazed by bullet during drive-by shooting

An investigation is under way after a 13-year-old boy was grazed in the head by a bullet during a shooting Thursday evening.
Police officers from Miami-Dade rushed to the scene near Northwest 81st Street and 12th Avenue about 9 p.m.
According to investigators, the boy had been walking with a friend when a Nissan Altima pulled up alongside them and someone in the car began shooting.
Police say the boy knows the shooter and was apparently targeted.
The child was taken to the hospital, where he is expected to recover.
