Boy grazed by bullet recovering

Bullet grazes Jaquan Douglas's head

MIAMI – A 13-year-old boy grazed in the head by a bullet during a drive-by shooting continues to recover at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Police believe a gunman targeted the boy, identified as Jaquan Douglas, who was walking with a friend near Northwest 81st Street and 12th Avenue about 9 p.m. Thursday when a Nissan Altima pulled up alongside them and someone in the car began shooting.

Douglas underwent surgery Friday.
