BSO: Man tried breaking into pharmacy

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. -

The Broward Sheriff's Office arrested a 21-year-old man accused of trying to break into the Pompano Pharmacy early Friday.

BSO charged Vincent Moorman with battery, criminal mischief, resisting an officer without violence, possession of burglary tools, and burglary of an unoccupied structure.

A deputy saw Moorman trying to pry open the front door of the pharmacy, located at 60 NE 1st Street.

BSO said Moorman broke into another business in Pompano Beach last week and stole a safe.
