PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Cameras on board a Broward County Transit bus caught a man snatching a woman's iPad and running off with it.
The robbery happened in the 5500 block of West Hallandale Beach Boulevard on Sept. 27, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
The robber, seen wearing red shorts and a white t-shirt, sat near the woman after boarding the bus in East Hallandale. He pulled the stop switch and waited near the rear door for the bus to stop.
When the bus doors opened, he grabbed the iPad and ran north on Southwest 55th Avenue. The woman chased after the robber but failed to catch him.
