Car hits, kills pedestrian at Miami International Airport

A car hit and killed a 51-year-old businessman who was returning home to South Florida at Miami International Airport on Friday afternoon.
The incident happened while the businessman was walking along the striped crosswalk on the upper level of Concourse H, Miami-Dade police said.
Investigators don't believe speed was a factor in the crash.
"Our investigators are taking measurements and things of that sort to see what was the cause of this accident," said Miami-Dade Police spokesperson Det. Robin Pinkard.
The driver remained on the scene.
The businessman's name wasn't immediately released. Charges against the driver are pending.
