Celebrate Burger Month with a burger with local flare
May is National Burger Month and the Hard Rock Cafe at Miami's Bayside Mall is getting in the spirit.
Chef Gideon Horowitz has created a legendary local burger, inspired by South Florida. It's called the Tropical Burger-- and it's topped with tangy barbeque, pineapples, seasoned bacon, and Monterey Jack cheese.
"We wanted to create something that had a little bit of the South Florida feel, combined with people going on cruise ships and vacation," he told Local 10's MJ Acosta.
The Hard Rock Cafe is also celebrating summer by giving away one free trip for two to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana each day throughout the month of May.
