The Broward Sheriff's Office arrested a man accused of leading officers on a chase into the Holiday Mobile Estates mobile home park.
About 1:30 p.m. Monday, a Broward Sheriff's Office deputy tried serving a restraining order against 31-year-old Jayson Kalinowski. The deputy then saw a woman trying to get out of Kalinowski's car.
The deputy called for backup and followed Kalinowski southbound on Interstate 95 to the mobile home park, where he got out of his vehicle, ran off, and hid in a shed, police say. He was later taken into custody.
The 27-year-old woman and her 3-year-old daughter, who were both in Kalinowski's vehicle during the chase, weren't injured.
Kalinowski was charged with cruelty toward a child, false imprisonment of an adult, false imprisonment of a child under 13 years old, resisting an officer without violence, and fleeing/eluding law enforcement. He was also held on two out-of-county holds.
