Commission race runoff elections in Miami and Miami Beach

Polls open until 7 pm

MIAMI – The cities of Miami and Miami Beach will hold runoff elections for seats on their commissions.

The runoff was needed after no candidate received more than 50% of the vote in the November 5th general election.

In Miami, Richard P. Dunn II will face off against Keon Hardemon in District 5.

In Miami Beach, the entire city will be able to vote in three different groups.

In Group 1, voters can choose between Micky Steinberg and Elsa Urquiza.

In Group 2, Jorge Exposito and Michael Grieco qualified for the runoff.

In Group 3, it's a race between exiting mayor Matti Herrera Bower and challenger Joy Malakoff.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
