Coral Springs golf club targeted by vandals

Heron Bay Golf Club offers $1,000 reward for information in case

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Coral Springs police are searching for the vandal(s) who broke into the golf cart garage of the Heron Bay Golf Course last month.

Police said at least one person stole six golf carts and one beverage cart from the garage the night of Aug. 14.

The crook(s) also vandalized numerous golf greens on the property.

Police said all golf carts were found at different locations nearby with minor damage. The beverage cart was found submerged in a fountain at Heron Run Drive and 122 Avenue in Parkland.

Police estimate the loss sustained by the golf club to be more than $12,000.
