Credit card knife stopped at Miami Int'l Airport

MIAMI – A knife, which was fashioned to look like a credit card, was stopped at Miami International Airport in the last week, according to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

The TSA said another credit card knife was stopped at Albuquerque Int'l Airport and a belt buckle knife was found at Newark Inti'l Airport.

TSA screeners also seized two guns at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Int'l Airport in the last week.

On June 21, TSA screeners found a loaded 9mm automatic pistol. On June 25, they seized a loaded .40 caliber pistol.

No guns were found at Miami International Airport in the last week.

In all, TSA screeners stopped 44 guns from making it onto flights across the country in the last week, 35 of those guns were loaded.
