Daughter seeks help in finding elderly mom

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The daughter of a missing elderly woman is asking for the public's help in locating her mother.

She was last seen during the evening hours of Sept. 2, just prior to going to bed at her home on the 400 block of Northwest 17th Avenue. Her daughter, Sibyl Freeman, woke up around 4:00 a.m. and found that her mother was missing.

Charlie Mae is approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a floral print shirt and unknown bottoms.

Investigators do not suspect foul play, but are concerned for Freeman's safety.
