MIAMI – Carnaval Miami is going on this week and will end with a giant festival this Sunday.
The official cash prize dominoes tournament was held Wednesday at the famous Domino Park, a recognized Florida Heritage park.
Older members of the community congregate at Domino Park on a daily basis, whether there is a tournament or not.
"It is a wonderful place for those of us who are older and like to socialize," said one participant.
The final round of the tournament will be Thursday and the amount that will be awarded is still a surprise.
