In celebration of the second annual NDYHD, Pantene will bring pop-up salons to two Miami-area Walmart stores, at which local residents may donate their ponytails to this cause.

In exchange for hair donation, shoppers will receive a free haircut from a professional stylist.

The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 7 at two South Florida Walmart Stores.

From 9 a.m. to noon at the Walmart located at 3306 N. University Drive in Sunrise. From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Walmart located at 8651 NW 13th Terrace in Doral.

Anyone willing to "PonyUp" at least 8 inches of hair is invited to attend.

Hair may be colored with vegetable dyes, rinses and semi-permanent dyes, but cannot be bleached, permanently colored or chemically treated. Additionally, gray hair is difficult to use in the wig-making process, so hair may not be more than 5 percent gray at the time of donation.)

Those unable to donate can still be involved by Tweeting their support for the program @Pantene using #BeautifulLengths.
