A masked drive-thru customer tries robbing a Wendy's in Miramar.

MIRAMAR, Fla. -

A masked drive-thru customer tried robbing a Wendy's on Friday morning.

The driver ordered food from the fast food restaurant at 3750 Utopia Drive, but when he pulled up to the window, the clerk saw he was wearing a mask and holding a gun, according to Miramar police.

The clerk left the drive-thru window area and the driver fired one shot into the window. No injuries were reported.

Investigators believe he was driving a 2001 Pontiac Trans Am.
