Early morning shooting leaves man in critical condition

Detectives seek at least 2 gunmen after shooting

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Broward Sheriff's Office detectives are looking for at least two gunmen that left a man in critical condition after an early morning robbery Thursday.

A nearby camera at the Champion Food Store caught part of the crime, first showing the two suspects walking westbound on Northwest 15 Ct. in front of a business around 12:55 a.m.

Off camera the two victims were playing craps.

As the suspects walked toward the victims, one of the suspects began pulling out a gun.

The camera shows the two victims running away from the suspects as shots were being fired at them. One victim fell, and the suspects ran after the second victim.

Moments later a black, 2-door Pontiac G6 pulled up next to the wounded victim. A man exited the passenger side, searched through the victim's pockets, got back in the car and drove away.

That victim was transported to Broward Health Medical Center in critical condition.

The first suspect is described as a light skin, black male, with a slim build. He has a short, crop hairstyle and was seen wearing a white t-shirt.

The second suspect is described as a dark skin, black male, with a heavy build. He has long dreadlocks covered by a knit hat and was last seen wearing an orange shirt.
