A 79-year-old man from Oakland Park has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for conspiring to produce child pornography and for possession of child pornography.
According to court documents, Robert Eugene Revay was arrested in 2013 after police conducted an investigation into an online chat group, whose members traveled to engage in sex with young boys, and produced and distributed child pornography.
Police said Revay was part of the chat group, and took pictures and videos of him and another man sexually abusing a 12-year-old boy on numerous occasions.
In March of 2013, law enforcement officers searched Revay's Oakland Park residence, where they found child pornography in an encrypted container.
In addition to Revay's prison term, he was sentenced to a life term of supervised release.
