Family of slain woman asks for help solving murder

Guerline Noel shot, killed during robbery; Police release sketches of her killers

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – The husband and sister of a 29-year-old woman who was robbed and killed inside her own home last week asked for help solving her murder.

Guerline Noel went outside to her car to get a nursing textbook when the two men approached her, asked for money, and followed her into her house in the 200 block of Northeast 175th Terrace in North Miami Beach early July 4, police said.

Clauvens Cenor, Noel's husband, said the two armed men dressed in black then pulled out guns, forced him and his family into the bathroom, and shot his wife after he escaped through a window.

"It's never going to go away," said he said.

"They left my nephew without a mother," added Shedeline Noel, the victim's sister.

Police said Monday that Noel saved her son.

"When she died, she was holding her son," said North Miami Beach Police Det. Cora Mann. "She gave the ultimate sacrifice."

Investigators also released two sketches of the armed robbers (pictured below).

"I want justice for my sister," said Shedeline Noel.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call the North Miami Beach Police Department at 305-662-7654.
