The family of a 21-year-old man killed earlier this month asked for help Tuesday finding his shooter.
Mira Smith was shot and killed near Southwest 173rd Terrace and 102 Avenue on August 10. Michael Baker, Smith's brother, said they were outside when a group of men began shooting at them.
"Turn your coward self in. That's what I want to say," said Annie Smith, Mira's mother. "We have something in common: I gave him life and you took it. You just don't know how you tore our family up. You tore my family apart."
Police identified one suspect as Christopher Curry.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
