Deputies said Craig posted bond and then immediately fled the country.

After a search across South America that lasted more than a decade, Craig was arrested by Brazilian Federal Police at the airport in Rio de Janeiro in 2011.

Deputy U.S. Marshals flew to Rio this week to take custody of Craig and return him to South Florida.

He now sits behind bars at the Broward County Jail.
