Four teenagers have been arrested in connection with several vehicle burglaries throughout Broward County.
Flavio Cardoza, 18, and three other teens are accused of burglarizing more than 100 unlocked vehicles in Weston, Sunrise, Plantation and Davie.
Broward Sheriff's Office detectives said the teens went from city to city on bicycles and skateboards during the overnight hours, looking to steal from unlocked vehicles.
Among the items stolen during their burglary spree were three handguns, detectives said.
Deputies were responding to a burglary call in Weston on Monday night when they spotted the suspects, who ran from them and dropped their stolen items.
With the help of K-9 deputies, they were able to apprehend one of the suspects.
Detectives recovered several stolen items, including one of the guns, and arrested the other suspects Tuesday.
All four teens face felony charges.
