Fort Lauderdale police search for woman with Alzheimer's disease

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 72-year-old woman who suffers from Alzheimer's disease.

Gloria Jeanne Packer was last seen at 5:34 p.m. in the 1600 block of Northeast Seventh Place in Fort Lauderdale.

Police said Packer suffers from Alzheimer's disease and wears hearing aids. She does not have her medication with her.

Packer is described by police as a white woman who is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 105 pounds, and has wavy or curly short brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue flora print shirt, light blue jeans and tan lace-up shoes.
