Fourth of July events in Broward County

Star-Spangled Spectacular 4th of July Celebration on Hollywood Beach. This extravaganza will feature fireworks, children's fun, musical performances and, water games from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the oceanfront Charnow Park located at Garfield Street.
From 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Hollywood Beach Theatre at Johnson Street will feature live music performances by Fusion Dance Band and the Ruby Baker Band, followed by the offshore fireworks display.

The community will celebrate Independence Day at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with a spectacular fireworks display, gourmet Miami food trucks, entertainment and live bands from 6 - 10 p.m.
Ziplining and a rock climbing wall plus live music from the New Planets (Classic/Alternative Rock), Tom Jackson (Country), Higher Ground (80's/Classic Rock/Top40) and Lovechild.
Stilt-walkers, face painters, henna tattoo artists and fortune tellers. Performance of national anthem by Julia Dale, 12-year-old South Florida girl who sung at this year's NBA Championship.

The Independence Day Parade begins at 9 am at the corner of West Broward Boulevard and NW 46th Avenue in Plantation. The parade heads west to NW 69th Avenue, turning left on NW 4th Street, ending at City Hall with an awards ceremony. The parade route roads will be closed to traffic during the parade, starting at approximately 7 am and ending at 11 am.

Free children's carnival, concert & fireworks is held at the Plantation Central Park Ball Fields. The carnival begins at 5:30 pm. The concert begins at 7:30 pm and features Viva Classic Rock & Roll, a South Florida top 40's & Variety Show band. The fireworks follow at 9 pm featuring Zambelli Internationale.

"Let Freedom Ring" Parade and Family Fun Day. July 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. City Park, 6700 Sunset Strip, Sunrise 33313. Floats will wind their way west along Sunset Strip from NW 12th Street to City Park, where the fun continues with free food, rides and kids' entertainment. Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate.

The City of Deerfield Beach's 4th of July Celebration takes place on Thursday, July 4th at the Main Beach Parking Lot (149 SE 21st Ave). Come out and enjoy food, arts and crafts, the kid's zone and free entertainment from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the fireworks show beginning at 9 p.m.

The City of Fort Lauderdale will host the 4th of July Spectacular on Thursday from 12:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Fort Lauderdale Beach at A1A and Las Olas Boulevard. The Independence Day Celebration will feature a patriotic extravaganza with a kids zone, live music, and a dazzling fireworks display. Bounce houses, face painting, hula-hoop, Twister and limbo contests, beach games and water balloon toss, pie eating contest, first-ever 4th of July Diaper Derby.

July 4th Concert and Fireworks at the BB&T Center. Thursday, July 4, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. BB&T Center, One Panther Parkway, Sunrise 33323. Features children's rides and activities, along with an assortment of food and beverage vendors. South Florida band Making Faces will kick off the evening's live music lineup. After concert, there will be a fireworks display. Admission is free.

Join Coral Springs' annual Fourth of July celebration at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 at Mullins Park. Grand fireworks display set to begin promptly at 9 p.m. Food, refreshments and activities will be available for purchase prior to the fireworks display.

Celebrate the Fourth of July by attending the wonderful Independence Day Celebration hosted by the City of Pembroke Pines on Thursday, July 4, 2013 from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Pines Recreation Center Festival Grounds, 7400 Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines. Food Truck Roundups, FREE rides for children and in the children's area, The Final Countdown Band in Concert and a spectacular Fireworks Show at 9 p.m.
