Police say they were able to arrest two robbery suspects who broke into a home after receiving a 911 call from two girls inside the house.

On Thursday at 9:30 a.m., Hialeah police said 19-year-old John Lopez Serna and 18-year-old Johnnatan Moreno kicked open the front door and burglarized a house at 980th West 53rd Street.

Authorities said the two quickly fled after discovering a person in one of the bedrooms, who police said was a male resident of the home.

A short while later, police said they drove to 70th West 53rd Street and broke in through a rear window.

Two girls, one 10 years old and the other 13 years old, hid in the bathroom and called 911 while the two suspects ransacked the home, said police.
