Victor Chemerisov is accused of shipping sick dogs out of state, claiming them to be healthy.

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A Hollywood dog breeder was arrested Thursday after he was shipping sick dogs out of state, purporting them to be healthy, according to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Victor Chemerisov, 32, faces felony charges of organized scheme to defraud and uttering a forged document.

Chemerisov is the owner of Loveable Bulldogs, Palm Bullies and Bulldog Kennels.

According to a news release from the state agency, investigators determined that Chemerisov conducted at least 15 fraudulent transactions with falsified veterinary certificates stating that the dogs were healthy.

The fake certificates were signed in the name of a veterinarian who doesn't exist, the release stated.

Investigators said Chemerisov shipped the dogs from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

The victims were duped out of more than $20,000.

Chemerisov was being held at the main Broward County jail on $350,000 bond.
