Inspector finds live rodent in deli

State records show a live rodent was found inside Dave's Deli in Miami last week. Szechuan City Restaurant was also ordered shut by inspectors with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Rodent activity present as evidenced by rodent droppings found. 10 dry droppings in storage room where food is present. Storage room is approximately 6 feet from prep area and kitchen. Certified Food Manager or person in charge lacks knowledge of food borne illnesses and symptoms of illness that would prevent an employee from working with food, clean equipment and utensils, and single-service items. Required employee training expired for all employees."
