Jury selected in Sandor Guillen trial

Man accused in 2012 hit-and-run crash that killed Kaely Camacho

MIAMI – A jury has been chosen in the trial for a man accused of fleeing the scene of a 2012 crash that killed a 13-year-old girl.

Four men and four women were selected Tuesday afternoon in the trial of Sandor Guillen.

Police said Guillen was intoxicated when he drove his SUV in a Miami-Dade Transit Busway lane at 100 mph before slamming into a van carrying Kaely Camacho, her father and her older sister.

Guillen has pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide and DUI manslaughter.

The trial is scheduled to begin Wednesday morning and is expected to last three days.
