SUNRISE, Fla. – Lightning struck a man in Sunrise Friday. He was outside near a barbeque grill when he was injured.
The man was not identified, but said he was cooking for his family during a Fourth of July celebration.
Authorities said the injuries did not threaten his life.
The Sunrise home was near a canal.
