MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A semi-famous local singer was arrested and charged with DUI on Miami Beach.
Katriana Huguet, who is better known by her stage name Kat Dahlia, was stopped on Alton Road near 47th St. at 3:31 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to the arrest report, a Miami Beach Police officer pulled over Huguet after witnessing a 2013 gray Nissan Altima speeding down Alton Road.
The officer said the car's headlights were off.
When approaching Huguet's car, the officer reported smelling a strong odor of alcohol and that Huguet had bloodshot eyes. The officer also said Huguet's speech was slurred.
The officer asked Huguet to get out of her car, but she said she couldn't because, "she was in a swim suit." The officer let Huguet get dressed and then said she got out of the car.
The officer told Huguet that she needed to perform roadside tests and Huguet responded, "you only assume I might be drunk because I forgot to turn my headlights on and I'm a speeder."
Huguet then reportedly cursed at the officer and refused to do the roadside tests.
The officer then said Huguet resisted as she was being placed under arrest, refusing to place her hands behind her back.

She is charged with DUI and resisting arrest without violence.
While at Miami Beach Police headquarters, the officer said Huguet continued her bizarre behavior while answering questions, saying, "I'm black and Arab."
Huguet may have been out celebrating her 23rd birthday, which was Monday.
