PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A man from Miami-Dade County is facing three felony charges in Broward County after opening fire on a driver who rear-ended him, according to court documents obtained Tuesday.
Authorities said Rachad Wildgoose, 41, of Coral Gables, opened fire after the crash in Pembroke Park and tailed the victim to Golden Beach early Friday morning.

According to an arrest report from the Pembroke Park Police Department, the victim, driving a Mercedes-Benz, rear-ended Wildgoose’s Audi while driving in the 3100 block of West Hallandale Beach Boulevard.
The two came to a stop just west of the Interstate 95 overpass, police said.
According to the report, the victim told police that after getting out of his car, Wildgoose told him, “Get back in the car or ima shoot you.”
After the victim complied, Wildgoose fired one round at the vehicle, hitting the driver’s side window, police said.
The victim, “in fear for his life,” drove to Golden Beach with Wildgoose following him, eventually ending up in the 400 block of Ocean Boulevard just before 2:30 a.m.
There, police detained Wildgoose, who told investigators that he opened fire because he believed the victim was “reaching for a gun,” the report states.
Police arrested him on charges of discharging a firearm from a vehicle, missile into dwelling or vehicle and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Court records show he was released on a $32,500 bond.
A Broward County judge ordered Wildgoose to submit to electronic monitoring. He’s also required to give up any weapons and refrain from driving and contacting the victim.
