Nine-year-old Kelvin Ellis Jr. only had a dollar. It was a reward for getting good grades. Matthew Busbice, a millionaire, had to rush out of his apartment after a fire alarm.
Kevin spotted Busbice, 42, standing outside a coffee shop, with his eyes closed — praying. The boy assumed Busbice, an entrepreneur obsessed with the outdoors, needed help.

“I was mistaken as a homeless man and this happened,” Busbice wrote on Facebook.
Kevin walked up to Busbice with his fist closed. At first, Busbice thought he was going to have to defend himself. But Kevin opened his hand and offered to give him all he had to help him.
Busbice offered to buy Kevin something from the coffee shop, walked to meet his father next door, and a friendship was born.
Busbice, the owner of BuckFeather, shared the story on social media, and WBRZ in Baton Rouge shared it with their community in Louisiana. It has gone viral since.
