Firefighter hospitalized after flames erupt inside Coral Springs clubhouse

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – A fire erupted Tuesday afternoon inside the clubhouse of a community in Coral Springs.

The fire was reported at 9000 W. Atlantic Blvd.

Sky 10 was above the scene around 1:50 p.m. as multiple fire trucks were still at the scene.

According to Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department Deputy Chief Mike Moser, the fire started in the attic of the clubhouse.

He said firefighters extinguished the flames and one firefighter was transported to a hospital to be treated for heat exhaustion.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

No other injuries were reported.
