DANIA BEACH, Fla. – A 59-year-old man was charged with aggravated battery after deputies said he hit one of his neighbors over the head with a golf club.
The altercation happened Monday afternoon at a community on NW 3rd Place off Old Griffin Road in Dania Beach.

Deputies said Carlos Padilla and the 63-year-old Greg Alvarez have had an ongoing dispute, which led to the altercation.
Alvarez was taken to Broward Health. Deputies said it appeared that he may have a fractured skull.
