Man who attempted to steal bus at Davie day care center sought, police say

Man wanted in connection with several business burglaries in Davie, Pembroke Pines

DAVIE, Fla. – A man who attempted to steal a bus at a Davie day care center is currently being sought by the Davie Police Department, authorities said.

Police said the man broke into the Nob Hill Academy day care center at 6763 Stirling Rd. in Davie at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 6, and attempted to steal the bus but was unsuccessful, according to Davie police.

The day care's surveillance system captured the man during the burglary (see above video).

The man is also wanted in connection with several business burglaries in Davie and Pembroke Pines, police said.

Davie police described the man as a white man who has a thin to average build, has short dark hair that is shaved on the sides and back, and has what appear to be full "sleeve" tattoos on both arms.
