Man charged in armed rapes

Police on Friday arrested a 46-year-old man accused of robbing three teenagers, then sexually battering them.
Police charged Erick Wilson with four counts of armed sexual battery, two counts of armed robbery, and two counts of armed kidnapping.
According to police, Wilson held up 16-year-old and 18-year-old girls at Southridge Park on Aug. 22. When the girls said they didn't have any money, he led them to some bleachers at a nearby football field and sexually battered them.
On June 13, Wilson sexually battered a 17-year-old girl at Caribbean Park, police said.
According to an arrest affidavit, Wilson confessed in both incidents. He previously worked for a landscaping company in Homestead.
